Ozone\u2019s designer <strong>Luc Armant<\/strong> was 3<span style=\"font-size: 12.5px;\">rd<\/span>\u00a0on a Zeno, the new 2-lines EN D paraglider released by the house.<\/p>\n<p>The competition started on Tuesday 6 of September, after two days of bad weather, a 79.4km race to goal that was won by South Africa\u2019s Andre Rainsford (Gin Boomerang 10), with Argentina\u2019s Michel Guillemot 2nd\u00a0and Ulrich Prinz (DEU) 3<span style=\"font-size: 12.5px;\">rd<\/span>\u00a0-both on Enzo 2s.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_4869\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4869\" style=\"width: 300px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/09\/pwc-st-andre_felix.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[4864]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-4869 size-medium\" title=\"PWC St Andre 2016. Photo: Felix Rodriguez<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>On Wednesday, a 115.2km task was set and Yassen Savov (BGR, Enzo2) completed it 5 minutes ahead of the next pilot in goal, Luc Armant, with Pinot coming in 3<span style=\"font-size: 12.5px;\">rd<\/span>.<\/p>\n<p>On Thursday a 72.25 km task was set but it had to be stopped due to dangerous conditions on take-off. On Friday the conditions allowed for a 102.37 km race to goal, which was led by a group of 7 pilots who finished within 48 seconds of each other. Slovenia\u2019s Tilen Ceglar was first with France\u2019s Maxime Pinot and Honorin Hamard sharing the second place, and Felix in 4<span style=\"font-size: 12.5px;\">th<\/span>. This would be the last competition task of the event; on Saturday a 60 km task was set but overdevelopment on the course forced to stop it before the lead gaggle had taken the 3rd waypoint.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"https:\/\/player.vimeo.com\/video\/182788631\" width=\"696\" height=\"392\" frameborder=\"0\" title=\"Saint-Andr&eacute;-les-Alpes\" webkitallowfullscreen mozallowfullscreen allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was flying confident in my decisions concerning the conditions, just using the group sometimes.
