We&#8217;ve found out that if the knots at the base of the elastic loops aren&#8217;t well tight then the elastic loops overextend so we&#8217;ve replaced all the knots with sewed end stubs thus preserving the correct length of the elastic loops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"424\" height=\"175\" src=\"http:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_01.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14495\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_01.png 424w, https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_01-300x124.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 424px) 100vw, 424px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Inspection: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Open the long magnetic edge that covers the closing elastics of the rescue chute container and remove the metal pin connected to the rescue handle. Make sure the white elastics can untie and don\u2019t get entangled with each other.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"667\" height=\"154\" src=\"http:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_02.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14497\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_02.png 667w, https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_02-300x69.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 667px) 100vw, 667px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Both elastic loops may overextend, even if the rear one (the farther one from rescue handle location) is the most important one. Make sure the length of each elastic does not exceed 8 cm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"723\" height=\"157\" src=\"http:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_03.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-14499\" srcset=\"https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_03.jpg 723w, https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_03-300x65.jpg 300w, https:\/\/ojovolador.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/XR7_03-696x151.jpg 696w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 723px) 100vw, 723px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"> Required action: <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>If the elastics are longer\nthan 8 cm then they must be replaced with new\nones.\nRemove the overextended elastics by wiggling your hand into the\nthe ratchet pulley area and between the fabric layers (as shown\nin the pictures) till you reach\nthe elastic\nknots inserted in a white plastic bar. Pull them out and put the new ones in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To have the new elastic loops\ncontact your local WOODY VALLEY dealer\nor WOODY VALLEY headquarters directly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Close the rescue chute container following the procedure explained in\nthe manual and finally make sure you can\nextract the rescue chute with ease.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.woodyvalley.eu\/download\/manuas\/es\/ES_X-R7.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"  (se abre en una nueva pesta\u00f1a)\">www.woodyvalley.eu\/download\/manuas\/es\/ES_X-R7.pdf<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While waiting for the new elastics, you can temporarily shorten your overextended ones as follows: undo the knot, bend the elastic in half, measure 12 cm and mark that point with a marker.
