With a total weight of only 2.37 kg, the new square-round emergency parachute SQR 220 supports up to 220 kg, offering fast deployment and high pendulum stability thanks to the combined technology of square and round parachutes.
The SQR 220 has a 61.9 square metre surface and is made from robust standard materials. It can be packed down to a 6-litre volume, it is EN and LTF certified, and it is “as straightforward to pack as a round canopy”, according to the manufacturer.
The biggest of the SQR range of parachutes developed by Companion, joint venture of ADVANCE and EVOTEC, will be available at the beginning of March.
