Launched in summer 2024, the BGD Diva 2 from BGD’s young design team features a “highly stable” reflex profile, according to the brand, a markedly pronounced arc, shorter lines than most wings in its class and outward-curving stabilos. With an aspect ratio of 7, it has 86 cells and weighs 5.84 kg in the size L we tested.

For our tests we flew the Diva 2 at different wing loadings and with different harnesses — Gin Genie Race 5, Advance Lightness 4 and Gin Genie X-Lite — from 115 to 122 kg. We found the best performance at around 116 kg.

In this video (in Spanish) we cover every relevant aspect of the Diva 2. Unmatched handling: experience the direct connection and incredible manoeuvrability of the Diva 2. Top-level performance: see how it compares with the Zeno 2 and the Enzo 3 in glide, speed and climb. Surprising accessibility: find out whether this EN D wing could be your next step up. Detailed analysis: everything from launch behaviour to speed-bar efficiency and rear-riser control. Stunning footage: enjoy great images of the Diva 2 in action.

What we liked most: how direct and manoeuvrable this paraglider is — how it turns and how it cores thermals!
