It´s official, Nova is working on a new lightweight 2-liner EN D paraglider developed by the Austrian brand for the 2021 Red Bull competition and with the outstanding acro pilot Theo de Blic as official pilot, among other athletes.

We only needed to find a name for our new ¨baby¨, reports Nova, and it was Toni Bender, test pilot of the firm whom involuntarily baptized it with the name of the most successful competition paraglider of the 90´s: “To fly this glider I happily drive to Bassano for just one day and then back home in the evening. It’s so much fun to fly! In terms of potential, the new 2-liner reminds me a little of the legendary 1995 XENON.”

The photos here show prototypes, but neither the final wing nor the final design, explains the manufacturer.

The Nova team is currently in Tenerife test flying one of the latest prototypes of the Xenon project, so if we have the chance to see it in action, there will be further reports here or in our social media network.
