The Ibex 4 keeps the original spirit of the Ibex series — a light, compact wing that can be flown at high wing loading without being ultra-fast — but offers much more versatility and performance for almost any type of flying, according to the Austrian manufacturer.

Certified EN A — suitable for schools — this paraglider is a completely new three-liner design, with an aspect ratio of 4.63 and 36 cells, and for the first time incorporates diagonal tape ribs to improve weight, performance and the feeling of solidity in the air.

Nova Ibex 4The Ibex 4 in size XS, with a projected area of 21 m², weighs 3.25 kg and has a weight range of 70 to 100 kg, although Nova recommends choosing the size according to the type of flying you do. For relaxed flights, you should be in the lower part of the range with a low wing loading; for local or thermal flights and even XC, a medium wing loading is best; while for dynamic flying in windy areas or mountain descents, where the priority is being able to take off and glide down, a high wing loading is better.

Nova says the Ibex 4 glides much better and flies much faster than a single-skin paraglider, and that it stands out in the category of light, safe wings. It is available in 4 sizes.
