The Gemona Paragliding World Cup, held from 25 July to 1 August with launch from Monte Cuarnan, consisted of seven tasks over the mixed terrain of the Julian Alps and the Friuli plains. According to the official PWCA report, the fourth task was the longest of the week, at 97.1 km with several valley crossings that completely reshuffled the race. The seventh and final task, 70 km long, was flown in just 1h30 at an average of almost 47 km/h; it was won by Ferdinand Vogel, with Daphnée Ieropoli fastest among the women and Flymaster the best team of the day.
Men’s overall podium

- Baptiste Lambert (France) — Ozone Enzo 3
- Martin Jovanoski (North Macedonia) — Ozone Enzo 3
- Roger Aeschbacher (Switzerland) — Ozone Enzo 3
Women’s overall podium

- Alexia Fischer (USA) — Ozone Enzo 3
- Elisa Deutschmann (Germany) — Ozone Enzo 3
- Violeta Jiménez (USA) — Ozone Enzo 3

Lambert, a member of Ozone’s design and test team and the reigning world champion, adds another World Cup win to his victories this year in Feltre and at the Trofeo Montegrappa, as well as his recent 1st place at the SRS Le Grand-Bornand. Seattle-based Fischer also flies an Enzo 3 with a Submarine harness, the combination with which she won the Algodonales World Cup last year.

The team podium — Ozone first, Flymaster second and Niviuk third — confirms the French brand’s strong form, with its pilots at the top of both individual rankings.
The next event on the calendar is the Sopot PWC (Bulgaria), from 5 to 12 September 2026.
