Live from China: Teams start to arrive

After a long long trip (via Moscow) we arrived in Changping with the Spanish Team, the third to arrive after the Germans and the Japanese. Team Polonia has arrived this afternoon, and all the pilots are looking forward to flying tomorrow if the conditions are ok.
So far things are looking good; we’re staying at a hot-spring resort hotel about 5 minutes by car from the town of Changping and similar distance to the airfield. We didn’t see it yet but some pilots think it looks a bit small for all the competitors… We’ll see. Tomorrow, more from China (internet connection still not easy to get!)
